Network Disruptions: Tuesday, 09-Sep-2025 @ 10:00 AM

On Tuesday, 09-Sep-2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, there will be brief 5-minute network interruptions on all CLASSE networks due to upgrades of CLASSE core networking equipment and firewalls.

CLASSE VPN Update: Tuesday, 09-Sep-2025 @ 10:00 AM

On Tuesday, 09-Sep-2025, at 10:00 AM, the CLASSE VPN service (Pritunl) will be unavailable for approximately one hour. Please plan accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns, please submit a ServiceRequest.

Stockroom App Upgrade: Monday, 15-Sep-2025

On Monday, 15-Sep-2025, the current stockroom application (GP) will be replaced by the custom Stockroom App developed internally by CLASSE-IT Group developers. The only change you should notice when you are checking out items at the kiosk in the stockroom is that you will need to login to the app with your CLASSE ID and password.

Upcoming Windows Security Upgrade: Tuesday, 16-Sep-2025

On Tuesday, 16-Sep-2025, we will apply this security upgrade to CLASSE-managed Windows systems. If you have any questions or concerns, please submit a ServiceRequest.



General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our NewsLetter and via CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations.

The BeamPASS application receives bug fixes and new features on Tuesdays. When these updates are made, users will be logged out but should be able to login again within a few minutes. If you find BeamPASS is unavailable for longer than that, please submit a ServiceRequest.
