Second Duo Enrollment Clinic: Thursday, 13-Apr-2017

Starting 20-Apr-2017, IT@Cornell will require Two-Step Login to access financial and tax-related tasks in Workday. This action is being taken in response to a recent spate of costly NetID compromises. Two-Step Login helps protect your Cornell NetID against unauthorized use, and we strongly encourage you to enable it for all Cornell web services.

To assist members of CLASSE with Two-Step Login, we will be hosting our second enrollment clinic offered by IT@Cornell:

Autodesk upgrade delayed

The Autodesk upgrade that was previously announced for Monday, 17-Apr-2017 has been delayed. The new tentative date is Monday, 08-May-2017. As part of this transition, the Vault will be disabled on Friday, 05-May-2017 for migration to the new version. After the upgrade, Inventor, Vault Pro, CFD, and Multiphysics will be at version 2017 (currently 2015). More details will follow as the date approaches.

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our NewsLetter and via CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations.
