Matlab Update

The 2019a version of Matlab is now available on CLASSE Linux, using the command "matlab -r 2019a" or "matlab -r latest". Please see the CLASSE Matlab wiki page for more info. As a reminder, the default version has been set to 2018a, for both Linux and Windows (via AppsAnywhere).

Tuesday 20-Aug-2019: lnx201 maintenance for memory replacement and upgrade.

On Tuesday 20-Aug-2019 lnx201 will be DOWN for one hour, starting at 10 am. In addtion to lnx201 not being available during the outage, the CLASSE GRID script will not be functional. We will be replacing a single failed memory DIMM and adding eight more DIMMs. This will double the available memory, in lnx201, to 128 GB.

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our NewsLetter and via CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations.
