At approximately 10 AM tomorrow, Tuesday, August 30th, there may be a momentary network glitch or pause when a central switch is rebooted.

Matlab, Mathematica licenses renewed, next renewal August 2017

CLASSE Network licenses for Matlab and Mathematica have been renewed until the end of August of next year.
For standalone licenses:
  • Matlab - if your standlone license needs to be updated, send email to service-classe@cornell.edu
  • Mathematica - if you have a home-use license, you will need to do the renewal yourself. For instructions see
    https://wiki.classe.cornell.edu/Computing/CmpGrp/Licenses/MathematicaHomeUse

iOS users - update your device to iOS v9.3.5

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our NewsLetter and via CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12 noon to 2:00 PM.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations.
