AppsAnywhere Upgrade: Tuesday, 19-Feb-2019 @ 7:30 AM

On Tuesday, 19-Feb-2019, from 7:30 AM to 12:00 noon, the AppsAnywhere service will be upgraded. We expect applications to be unavilable for up to an hour somewhere within this window. During that time, any applications that are active might report that there is an interruption, and will resume when the connection returns. If you have any questions or concerns, please submit a ServiceRequest.

Providing a WBS

We know it's an inconvenience, but.... when you submit a ServiceRequest that takes a measureable amount of our effort, we are required to ask you for a WBS to charge our time to. A WBS is a CLASSE accounting code, and if you do not have one available, then a Cornell account number may be used instead. For audit compliance reasons, all of our effort must be charged to a specific project whenever possible, and not to any general WBSs. Thanks for your understanding!

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our NewsLetter and via CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations.
