Suggestions for configuring Outlook's "Clutter" service

Brian Heltsley recently provided the following information about configuring the relatively new Clutter feature being provided by Cornell's email service.

Perhaps you all know this already, but Clutter in Outlook is really dangerously filtering emails.

To turn it off, amazingly, one has to do it in the Web App at http://outlook.cornell.edu , which is documented on the Cornell IT help pages at http://www.it.cornell.edu/services/guides/facstaff_email/clutter.cfm

But, if one is unlucky enough to have the "light" version selected, one cannot do what is documented there.

In my case, I had to click Options->Version and then uncheck the "light" version box. Then I clicked SAVE.

At this point, one has to log out and quit the browser, and wait for some amount of time, like 15 minutes.

Then logging back in gets one able to see the Setting "gear" icon at the upper right.

This drove me crazy for an hour today, so I thought I would document it.
