End user instructions
  1. In Calendar, on the Home tab, in the Manage Calendars group, click Open Calendar, and then click Open Shared Calendar.
  2. Type it-classe-cal or it-classe-away in the Name box, or click Name to select a name from the Address Book
  3. The shared Calendar appears next to any calendar that is already in the view
-or-
  1. Go to File, Account Settings in Outlook 2010
  2. Select your Exchange account and click Change (or double click)
  3. Click More Settings
  4. On the Advanced Tab, click Add
  5. Type all or part of the name of the mailbox that was shared with you. Select the correct name if presented with a list of names.
    • Example: enter it-classe-cal or it-classe-away
    • The CLASSE Computer Group calendar AND sub calendars will show up under "My Calendars"
      They will NOT show up under "Shared Calendars" or "Other Calendars"
  6. Click OK and work your way out of the dialogs and return to Outlook.

"Owner" instructions
Permissions need to be set for the calendar
  1. Open Outlook 2010 (not OWA)
  2. Display your calendars
  3. right-click on every calendar you want to check/set permissions on
Everyone in the group needs to assigned an appropriate role on the EGA management page
