Terminal Service / Remote Desktop access to Windows Applications from Linux

Introduction

This Windows Remote Desktop Server (WinApp2) also can be used to provide somewhat limited Windows 10 desktops to several people at a time.

CLASSE currently provides only a limited selection of remote applications which can be run individually from your own desktop. You can submit a Service Request for other applications to be considered. The currently available applications are listed below.

Notes and Known Limitations

  • Closing the xfreerdp window does not log you out. Please log out via the start menu when you are done.
  • You do not get system tray notifications from xfreerdp - this seems to be a limitation in the xfreerdp Linux client.

Visio specific Known Issues

  • Visio may ask you to set Update Settings. Select "do not change settings" and click OK.
