Brief Introduction to the ACC Code Management and Build System

ACC simulation codes (as well as some data acquisition and hardware codes) are presently maintained in a CVS repository on the LEPP Unix computers. In addition a set of tools, based on GNU Make and a set of PERL scripts, have been supplied to support building these codes across multiple platforms. At present, our codes can run under OSF, OpenVMS, Linux (i686) and Linux (alpha). Efforts are presently underway to support builds under Windows and OSX.
