Add publicity graphics to your project page
You must, first, upload the graphics files into the web site system.
- Have your files ready in a convenient location, in JPG format.
- Navigate to your project page.
These are the instructions for each uploaded file.
- On the bottom grey bar of the project page, click ÂattachÂ. This will open the attachment environment.
- Click ÂBrowseÂ
 to open a dialog box used to locate one of your files.
- Locate the file.
- Click Âopen in the dialog box.
- Type a comment in the "comment" window. Note: this comment wil be used for reference only when viewing your list of accumulated attachments in the future. This comment is not used on the project page. In particular, it is not used as the caption of the graphic.
- Link:[ ], (Do not check this box).
- Hide file:[x], (Yes, check this box. But, if you don't, we can fix it.)
- Note the name of the file (without directory). This is how it is named in the system and you will need to enter this name into the project page.
- Click "upload file" on the lower grey bar.
This will upload the file and return you to the project page.
From your project page, you can always click "attach" to review your list of uploaded files, and "cancel" to escape.
After uploading the file, edit the project page.
From your project page (normal view, not in the edit environment), you can always click "attach" to review your list of uploaded files, and "cancel" to escape. The file name shown in the left column is the file name that should be entered into your project page as described below.
- Navigate to your project page.
- Click "edit" on the lower grey bar to open the project page in the edit environment.
- Locate the "recent publicity graphics" line.
- Replace the place-holder file name, "pic1.jpg", with your graphics file name.
- You must replace the file name in two places. One is the thumb, the other is the full size figure.
- Replace the character string "_caption for pic1 _" with your caption.
- Example "_caption for pic1 _" can be replaced with "A picture of our prototype"
- Please make your caption concise.
- A second graphic may be added in place of "pic2".
- Do not modify the other content on this line. Especially, do not modify the paths surrounded by "%".
- Click "save" on the lower grey bar.
