"CALICE"

The goal of the CALICE collaboration is to design an high granularity calorimeter optimised for the Particle Flow measurement of multi-jets final state at the International Linear Collider running at a center-of-mass between 90 GeV and 1 TeV

For the ECAL, test beam has been performed recently at DESY with a small part of an ECAL prototype. Noise, Signa/noise, and general tests are under analysis.

At the end of 2005, the ECAL prototype will be completed, as well as the scintillator tile HCAL, one of the two proposed HCAL.(the second one is a digital HCAL, developed under the leadership of Argonne NL).

Test beams are foreseen at the end of 2005 for the completed ECAL and in 2006 at CERN and FNAL/MTBF for the following years.
