Configuring Eduroam for CLASSE laptops
CLASSE managed laptops cannot easily connect to eduroam because they try to use CLASSE authentication. That can't work. As a result, the instructions provided by CIT aren't adequate. The elaborate sequence shown below was developed by Charlie Strohman several years ago. It might or might not work now.
1. Bring up the Windows 'start' box by left-clicking on the ball in the
lower left of the desktop.
2. Select 'Control Panel' on the right side and left-click on it.
3. Select 'Network and Internet' and left-click on it.
4. Select 'Network and Sharing center' and left-click on it.
5. Select 'Manage wireless networks' on the left side of the window and
left-click on it.
