New CLASSE Website
Over the next two days, the long-awaited CLASSE website will be moved into production. In addition to replacing what's currently at www.classe.cornell.edu, this will replace the legacy LEPP website. Everything that was available from www.lepp.cornell.edu will now be available from www.classe.cornell.edu, and redirects will be created where the directory structure has changed. Please send any feedback on the new website to
webfeedback-classe-l@cornell.edu .
Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to this immense undertaking. When the deployment is complete, an announcement will be made on our
NetworkStatus page and the CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L mailing list. Please see
ClasseNews for information on joining this mailing list.
General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our
NewsLetter and via
CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
Unless other arrangements have been made,
CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see
SystemExpectations.
