If the Mac is CLASSE owned, choose owned by a school or institution when appropriate
You should be presented with a short list of issues; after selecting the most appropriate, you should be connected to a human
The representative will need the Serial Number you determined above, and the description of the hardware problem
The representative may try to get you to take your Mac to an Apple Store Instead, try to persuade that person to overnight a box for shipping to a repair facility
Tip: It typically takes 2-3 business days for the entire process of shipping to the repair facility, repairing the unit, then shipping it back. Starting the process early in the week will avoid adding weekend time into that process.
