If you are a group manager, you can request security groups for permissions to files and programs that make sense for your service. You can request to be added as the manager of the security group that is for your service. Note, there can be only one manager per security group.

Log in to a CLASSE Linux computer, like lnx201.classe.cornell.edu. When logging in from a remote system, be sure to enable X-forwarding (e.g. ssh -Y @lnx201.classe.cornell.edu).
Type winapp2 to open a desktop on winapp2.
Double-click on the "AD Group Manager" icon on the Desktop.
Windows:
Log into WinAPP2 and click on the "AD Group Manager" icon on the Desktop.
Add Group Members
In the bottom dialog box, type in the CLASSE username you want to add.
Press the Add User button.
Removing Group Members
In the right hand pane, select a member you want to remove.
