JAMF Self Service

JAMF Self Service is part of the JAMF management system for CLASSE-managed Macs. Using Self Service, users can browse and install a selection of vetted apps without needing administrative privileges.

Launch the Self Service app from your system-wide Applications folder (Finder - Go - Applications - Self Service.app).

Opening Self Service will bring up a dialog box like this:

Click on "CLASSE" under "Browse" in the lefthand pane.

Picture above shows apps available via Self Service as of July 2021.

Clicking on "Install" below an app tile will install the app;
Clicking on "Description"just above the "Install" button will display a short description of the relevant app (description of "Atom" shown).

Clicking on "Close" will return you to the "Home" tab; Clicking on "Install" will install the app.

You may occasionally need to "Reload Self Service" (in the view menu; see picture just below)
