All CESR Software Users: Current Working Directory will no longer be defined in your PATH after Tuesday 17-Nov-2015.
We have discovered a bug in the method used to define a CESR User's search PATH - the current working directory was mistakenly added to all CESR Users' PATH. This is a security issue and could cause unpredictable results executing a program since the search PATH may first look inside the current working directory for the program or support library, instead of the expected program or support library PATH location. This issue will be fixed tomorrow (Tuesday 17-Nov-2015) at 10:30 am. To have the changes take effect for active users, they will need to logout and back in again, thus re-sourcing the CESR environment. Please email any questions or concerns to email@example.com
