How to Get Latest Lattice

Three types of tables for the 1-pass and 4-pass ERLs have been provided by Scott Berg here:

https://app.box.com/folder/8970704782 - choose folder with latest date (Key to filenames)

There are a lattice element table, a lattice layout table, and an optics table for each of the two configurations.

Responsibilities

Notes from Georg Hoffstaetter regarding sharing responsibilities of Chris Mayes after he leaves the project:

The tasks that Chris Mays has been responsible for are the following. In parentheses are is the researcher who will take over this talks in the future.
  1. Being the L-2 Manager for WBS 1.2 (Adam Bartnik to perform this function for now)
  2. Layout tweaking (Scott Berg - William Lou will help)
    • Orbit tweaking
    • Time-of-flight tweaking
    • Optics tweaking
  3. Maintain the lattice in a svn library, including element count, element coordinates and specifications, and crosscheck of the lattice functions (Jim Shanks)
  4. Coordinating derivative beam-dynamics studies that use the lattice (Adam Bartnik - Colwyn Gulliford and others will help)
    • CSR
    • Touschek scattering
    • Start to End simulations
    • Halo tracking
    • Rest-gas scattering
    • Ion studies
    • BBU instabilities (in conjunction with William Lou)
    • Space charge
  5. Operation simulation (Adam Bartnik - Colwyn Gulliford, Dave Sagan, and others will help)
    • Optics and orbit correction procedures
    • Sensitivity analysis
    • Virtual machine to mirror operation
