Using xraylib to calculate total absorption cross section (sigma)

The xraylib tools can be accessed here: http://lvserver.ugent.be/xraylib-web/

To calculate sigma (cm2/g), select "Total absorption cross section" from the "Function" drop-down menu.

Enter the element or elemental formula (no spaces) in the "Element or Compound" line, and enter the beam energy in the "Energy" line.

Press "Go!" The result will be displayed below.
