Compute Farm Maintenance: Wednesday, 12-Apr-2023 @ 10:30 AM

On Wednesday, 12-Apr-2023, starting at 10:30 AM, the CLASSE Compute Farm will undergo server maintenance for up to two hours. We do not expect any service disruptions during this time.

[PSA] Network Disruption to CLASSE Buildings: Thursday, 13-Apr-2023 @ 4:00 AM

According to the CIT notice available here, wired and wireless internet access will be unavailable on Thursday, 13-Apr-2023 from 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM in Wilson Lab, Newman Lab, and the Physical Sciences Building while CIT performs network maintenance and upgrades.

Wilson Lab Printer Relocation: Wednesday, 19-Apr-2023

As previously announced, on Wednesday, 19-Apr-2023, the Konica printer/scanner/fax in Wilson Lab 286 (chsr_konica_c368) will be relocated to the third floor outside of W-301. Users on the second floor of Wilson Lab may use the Xerox printer in W-229 (W229_XRX_7800) instead. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please submit a ServiceRequest.

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our NewsLetter and via CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations.
