NoMachine Update: Tuesday, 30-Jul-2024

If you are a NoMachine user, at the end of TODAY, Monday, 29-Jul-2024, please save your work and log out of any NoMachine Virtual Desktops. On Tuesday, 30-Jul-2024, starting at 4:00 AM, all NoMachine servers will be updated to the latest release. When this update occurs, remote connections will be interrupted and all NoMachine Virtual Desktops will be deleted. Please submit a ServiceRequest with any questions or concerns.

Network Disruptions: Tuesday, 30-Jul-2024 @ 10:00 AM

On Tuesday, 30-Jul-2024, between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, please expect intermittent network disruptions as we install an upgraded hardware component. There is also a possibility of network glitches during the remainder of the week. If you have any questions or concerns, please submit a ServiceRequest.

GitLab Update: Tuesday, 30-Jul-2024 @ 12:00 Noon

On Tuesday, 30-Jul-2024, at 12:00 noon, the CLASSE GitLab will be unavailable for approximately one hour for a series of updates. Please submit a ServiceRequest if you have any questions or concerns.

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our NewsLetter and via CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations.
