On Monday, 27-Jan-2020, at 3:00 PM, we will begin migrating Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault) to the Autodesk 2020 Design Suite. ScreenConnect Upgrade: Tuesday, 04-Feb-2020 @ 10:00 AM
On Tuesday, 04-Feb-2020, starting at 10:00 AM, the ScreenConnect service will be unavailable for up to one hour for a server upgrade. During this time, you will be disconnected from remote sessions and will not be able to start new remote sessions. The ScreenConnect
client software on end-user computers will be upgraded during a future maintenance window.
Public Service Announcement: Shutdown of smtp.cornell.edu (outgoing mail)
The Cornell IT Service Desk has announced that the AuthSMTP service (smtp.cornell.edu) is being gradually turned off over the next three weeks
. Affected users have been notified repeatedly by email. In most cases, anyone who loses the ability to send mail as a result of this change can restore it by changing the setting in their email app from smtp.cornell.edu to smtp.office365.com for faculty and staff, or smtp.gmail.com for students or alumni. If you need assistance with this migration, please contact the Cornell IT Service Desk
General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.

, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM
