Many CLASSE computer accounts will expire on Saturday, July 9th.
Quite a few CLASSE computer accounts are scheduled to expire on Saturday, July 9th, 2016. For the first time we're letting our Netwrix management software send out automated notices. If you get such a notice and will need to continue using your CLASSE computer account, please submit a service request promptly (see below). If you delay you'll lose access until your account has been extended but no files will be lost. People who no longer need access to CLASSE computing services don't need to do anything.
ELOG Email Gateway
The CLASSE IT group has written a custom email -> ELOG gateway that allows you to post messages using email. Each logbook has an email address dedicated for that logbook. You can reply to messages received from that logbook, and the reply will be threaded appropriately as a response to the initial message. Or, you can send a new message to the email address to start a new thread. For more details, please see

Please note that a gateway has not been enabled for any CESR logbooks, but could be if requested.
General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our
NewsLetter and via
CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
Unless other arrangements have been made,
CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see
