Spring Down Maintenance: Tuesday, 30-Mar-2021
On Tuesday, 30-Mar-2021, we will be performing minor maintenance on the central CLASSE infrastructure cluster, the CHESS-DAQ cluster, and networking for the Compute Farm and Wilson Lab East Module. No outages are anticipated, although there is the potential for glitches to occur (up to a few minutes long). Please submit a ServiceRequest
with any questions or concerns about this maintenance work.

End of the CHESS 2021-1 Run
Tuesday, 23-Mar-2021, marks the end of the 2021-1 CHESS run, during which 130 TB of raw data was collected on the CHESS-DAQ filesystems. Per the usual CHESS data management
procedures, the raw data will become read-only on Thursday, 25-Mar-2021 at 10:30 AM in preparation for the final archive to tape. We will schedule the final rotation when the archive completes, at which point the raw data from 2020-3 will be removed from disk and the CHESS-DAQ will be set up for 2021-2.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM
