Secure Connect at CLASSE

Secure Connect uses Beyond Identity to provide biometrics/passkey login for staff and faculty at Cornell.
Instead of using a NetID, password, and DUO prompt to access Cornell web-based services, you will use biometrics to unlock a passkey stored on your device.

• Step 1: Install Beyond Identity - Submit a ServiceRequest or email service-classe@cornell.edu requesting installation of the Beyond Identity software (admin privileges required).
• Step 2: Configure Biometrics on Your Device
• Step 3: Add Your Device - or - Enroll a Passkey
• Set Up Your Browser to Use Secure Connect

(Note that "Personal Device" means a device NOT managed by CIT, which includes CLASSE-managed devices)

Traditional password authentication with Two-Step Login (Duo) is still available.

CLASSE IT is investigating ways to support biometrics/passkey login to access CLASSE web-based services.
