New Timesheet Feature: Time Charge Report

All Timesheet users can now view a history of their own time charges. You can view individual charges, search the comment field, and roll up your charges by WBS to see a percentage breakdown of where your time is being charged. To visit this new report:
  • Follow the Time Charge Report link in the navigation bar at the top of your Timesheet. (Anyone who has been approving timesheets has already had access to this report.)
  • Once you're there, enter a date range for the time charges you are interested in viewing.
  • Tick the "Group by WBS" if you want to see the percentage breakdown.
  • Enter text into the "Comment filter" field to find time charges that contain that word in their comment field.
  • Click the "Run Report" button and the data table will be populated.
  • Download the data from the table using the CSV link. Hide or show columns using the Columns button.
To ensure you are receiving all of the code that will enable this new feature, please clear your browser's cache. Instructions for clearing the cache in Vivaldi: https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/tools/delete-browsing-data/

Please submit a ServiceRequest with any questions or concerns. ScreenConnect: Opt-In to CLASSE Duo

As of 04-Mar-2022, CLASSE Duo has been enabled for remote access to CLASSE computers via NoMachine, SSH, X2Go, and Globus. For now, we have not globally enabled CLASSE Duo for ScreenConnect because ScreenConnect does not support phone calls, only Duo Push via the mobile app. However, if your primary CLASSE Duo device is a phone or tablet running the Duo app, we strongly encourage you to opt-in to receiving Duo prompts with ScreenConnect. To request this additional layer of account security when logging into CLASSE computers, please submit a ServiceRequest.

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our NewsLetter and via CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations.
