Change to Caller ID
Beginning Saturday, December 16, calls placed from your Cornell phone to off-campus numbers will display your Cornell phone number instead of being shown as unknown. This change is necessary to support the university’s new 911 system, launching January 8, 2018, to provide the necessary location information in emergencies.

Kronos to be replaced by Workday
Starting January 4, 2018, nonexempt, biweekly staff and student employees will use Workday instead of Kronos to manage and record time worked and time off. For instructional videos and more information, please visit the Workday Time Tracking page

Continuity of Box access
If you use Cornell Box
for data storage, you (or your supervisor) might wonder what happens to your files when you leave Cornell. The answer can be found at https://it.cornell.edu/box/leaving-cornell
. Basically, access to your Cornell Box files goes away when your Cornell NetID is disabled. So, to preserve institutional knowledge, any folders that are work-related should be transferred to a co-worker before you leave Cornell.
