AppsAnywhere Upgrade: Tuesday, 19-Feb-2019 @ 7:30 AM
On Tuesday, 19-Feb-2019, from 7:30 AM to 12:00 noon, the
AppsAnywhere service will be upgraded. We expect applications to be unavilable for up to an hour somewhere within this window. During that time, any applications that are active might report that there is an interruption, and will resume when the connection returns. If you have any questions or concerns, please submit a

Upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10
As mentioned in a
previous newsletter, CLASSE-IT is ending general support for Windows 7 on 01-Jun-2019, less than five months from now. All Windows 7 computers will be disconnected from the CLASSE network at that time. We have been contacting Windows 7 users to schedule an upgrade to Windows 10 (or to discuss other options). Some older computers are incapable of running Windows 10 and will need to be replaced. If you have not been contacted yet, please submit a
ServiceRequest -- it is important not to wait until the last minute to start the process. Thank you!
General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our
NewsLetter and via
CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
Unless other arrangements have been made,
CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see
SystemExpectations.
