Cornell Ending Support for Symantec Antivirus on Oct. 21
If you have downloaded Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) from Cornell for home or personal use, please be aware that you will no longer receive updates after October 21, 2016. In particular, after this date, your virus definitions will be stale, which will leave your computer vulnerable to attack. It is recommended that you uninstall SEP as soon as possible
and transition to a different antivirus program
Two-Factor Authentication for your Cornell NetID
Because of a sharp rise in Cornell NetID password theft, CIT is urging everyone to enroll in its Two-Step Login
service, which provides additional protection for your NetID using your mobile phone or landline every time you log in. Note that Two-Step Login is only available for Cornell services, not CLASSE services.
CHESS DAQ Rotation

Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM
, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see SystemExpectations
